Welcome to Battlefords Tote Rentals. By renting storage totes and using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our policies, and any applicable laws. These terms apply to all rentals, deliveries, and services provided by Battlefords Tote Rentals.
2. Rental Period
- Rental periods begin on the scheduled delivery date.
- Standard rental periods are 2 and 4 weeks, unless otherwise agreed.
- Extensions must be requested prior to the end of the rental period and may be subject to additional fees.
- Late returns may result in daily or weekly late fees.
3. Delivery and Pickup
- Delivery and pickup dates and times are scheduled at the time of booking.
- Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the delivery and pickup location.
- Missed or rescheduled deliveries/pickups due to customer unavailability may incur additional charges.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all totes are empty and ready for pickup.
4. Use of Equipment
- All totes and equipment remain the property of Battlefords Tote Rentals.
- Totes must be used for lawful purposes only.
- Customers agree not to:
- Overload totes beyond reasonable weight limits
- Use totes for hazardous, illegal, or prohibited materials
- Modify, damage, or alter the totes in any way
5. Damage, Loss, or Theft
- Customers are responsible for all rented equipment during the rental period.
- Any damaged, lost, or stolen totes will be charged at replacement cost.
- Normal wear and tear is expected and will not be charged.
- Excessive damage (cracks, breaks, burns, etc.) will result in repair or replacement fees.
6. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
- Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit, cash, e-transfer etc.].
- Additional fees (late fees, damages, extra rental time) will be charged to the original payment method.
- All prices are subject to applicable taxes.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations made at least 48hours prior to delivery may receive a full refund.
- Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No refunds will be issued after delivery has been completed.
8. Liability
- Battlefords Tote Rentals is not responsible for:
- Damage to customer property during loading/unloading
- Injuries sustained while using rented equipment
- Loss or damage to contents stored within totes
- Customers assume full responsibility for the safe use and handling of all equipment.
9. Cleaning and Condition
- Totes must be returned in reasonably clean condition.
- Excessively dirty totes may be subject to cleaning fees.
10. Access and Security
- Customers are responsible for the security of totes while in their possession.
- Any access codes or instructions provided by the customer must be accurate to ensure successful delivery/pickup.
11. Privacy
- Personal information collected during booking will be used solely for order processing and communication.
- We do not sell or share customer information with third parties, except as required by law.
12. Changes to Terms
Battlefords Tote Rentals reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and applicable Canadian laws.
